Our Story
When my wife and I bought our first home, the backyard was nothing but a blank slate. We dreamed of transforming it into a space full of life—grass, garden beds, chickens, and plenty of plants. With a beautiful design from Plan a Patch, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work.
As a big DIY family, we tackled most of the projects ourselves. But when it came to finding garden and lawn edging, we hit a wall. Everything on the market was either overpriced, flimsy, frustrating to install, or simply didn’t last.
That’s when my engineering background kicked in. I sketched up my own design and had it cut from steel by a local shop. After installing it in our yard, the results were incredible—the edging looked clean, sharp, and professional. Still, I saw room for improvement, especially in how it installed.
Through trial and refinement, I developed a system that was not only easy to install but also built to last. That’s how the idea for adding barbs was born—an innovation that keeps the edging firmly in place for years while looking as good as the day it was installed.
What started as a solution for our own yard has grown into something much bigger. Our goal is simple: to create high-quality, long-lasting landscaping products that help others bring their outdoor visions to life.
